Service Description

Join our dog sledding adventure on the beautiful Malangen Fjord peninsula, where you’ll drive your own team of eager Alaskan huskies through quiet forest trails and open landscapes. This is a small-group experience that offers a calm, personal encounter with our dogs and the Arctic wilderness. Before starting the tour, you’ll receive clear instructions on how to handle the sled, how to brake, and how to work with your husky team. Once we’re ready, you’ll head out on the trail for a peaceful ride surrounded by snow-covered mountains and pure winter silence. We provide warm clothing and winter boots, to stay comfortable during the excursion. Don't forget to bring your own hat an winter gloves / mittens. Our starting point is easy to reach by car, and winter roads are normally well maintained. Quick facts: • Group size: max 6–8 guests ( For bigger group, please send us an email). • Skill level: This tour requires basic fitness and the ability to balance on the sled. There are a few gentle uphills where you will need to help the dogs by stepping or pushing. • Driving to our place: winter tyres required; 4x4 optional • Included: warm clothing, boots, drink/snack, dogyard visit, dogsledding, firecamp, cuddling dogs. • Duration: approx. 3 hours (1 hour dog sledding) Important Transport from Tromsø is not included. Most guests choose to drive themselves, or you can come with a taxi. If you’re looking for an authentic dogsledding experience away from the big crowds around Tromsø, this tour is perfect for you.
