General Information

 

Welcome to Into Nature, a remote place near Tromsø where you can experience the Arctic lifestyle with us and our 34 lovely Alaskan Huskies.

We are located on the beautiful Malangen Peninsula, offering stunning views of majestic mountain peaks, endless forests, and the fjord all at once, which is located 1 hour and 15 minutes from Tromsø.

We focus on very small groups to ensure a personalized experience. By sharing this journey with just a few people, a team of happy huskies, and our guide, we aim to give you the best experience possible.
 

We want to introduce you to our dogs and share our lifestyle with you.

With us, you’ll witness the entire process of preparing the dogs for an adventure. We want you to feel like a team member and be part of the experience.

You’ll see something unique at our place: the dogs running freely and warming up, get the chance to pet them, and get to know them better. If you’re interested, you can even learn how to put a harness on them!

After introducing you to our four-legged family, we will teach you how to safely drive a sled.

Once everyone is ready, we take off for sledding. During the activity, you will act as the musher and be part of the team with the dogs. Your travel partner will sit on the sled, and you’ll switch positions halfway.

After our journey, we’ll gather inside a warm, traditional "grillhytte" heated by a fireplace to enjoy a Norwegian traditional homemade snack and a hot drink. During this time, we like to share stories about Arctic life, our dogs, Tromsø, and get to know you better too.

We provide Arctic-proof boots and winter clothing, but we recommend that you wear a wool base layer with a wool jumper or fleece.

 

• Included: Experienced Guide, dogyard visit, dogsled ride, lavvo experience, warm clothes, winter boots, quality time,  small group, snack.

• Please bring; Warm base layer, gloves, woolen socks, hat and scarf.

• Your own sled and dog-team of 4-6 dogs shared with the guide or another participant

• Level of difficulty: Medium

• warm traditional "Saft" drink and local traditional sweet snack.

• A visit of the kennel and puppy yard if we have puppies

• Departure time and place: 09:30 and 13:30 at Into Nature. For our Evening tour, please contact us.

• Duration: 3 hours total duration, including 1 hour /10km of dogsledding.
