Terms and Conditions for Activities / Accommodation / Rentals at Into Nature
1. Agreement
Unless a separate written agreement has been concluded between the parties, these Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between Into Nature (hereinafter referred to as "the Organiser") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as "the Client").
All laws and regulations applicable to tourism in Norway and Svalbard apply to package tours and other travel services provided by Into Nature.
2. Booking
Once the Organiser sends the booking confirmation to the Client, the booking is considered accepted unless the Client immediately notifies the Organiser in writing of any discrepancies or errors in the booking confirmation.
3. Payment
All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Payment can be made through the online booking system or by bank transfer, as agreed with the Organiser.
A booking is only considered confirmed once full payment has been received.
4. Cancellation Policy
Only cancellations made in writing will be accepted.
Flight cancellations, failure to hold the necessary travel documents, illness, or other personal circumstances do not entitle the Client to a refund outside the cancellation terms set out in this section.
Clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect themselves against cancellation costs. Please contact your insurance provider for further information.
- Cancellation 30 days or more before the scheduled activity
→ The full activity price will be refunded automatically. .
- Cancellation between 30 and 10 days before the scheduled activity
→ The Client is entitled to a 50% refund of the activity price.
- Cancellation 10 days or less before the scheduled activity
→ This will be considered a last-minute cancellation and no refund will be issued.
5. Changes to the Programme During Guided Activities
Certain circumstances, such as extreme temperatures or rapidly changing weather conditions, may require us to modify the programme in order to ensure the safety of our guests.
Routes and itineraries may also be adjusted according to weather, snow conditions, ice conditions, or the welfare of our dogs.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions affecting the planned routes or programme, no refund will be issued.
The safety of our guests is always our highest priority.
Into Nature also reserves the right to cancel an activity if the minimum required number of participants has not been reached or if the conditions are considered unsafe.
In such cases, the Client will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.
6. Responsibility and Liability
Participants are responsible for assessing whether they are physically and mentally fit to take part in the activities they have booked. Participants must follow all instructions provided by our guides.
Into Nature reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone considered to present a safety risk to themselves, the dogs, our guides, or other participants.
No refund will be issued if participation is refused because the participant does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or the safety requirements of the activity.
During our activities, participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating substances.
If equipment or dogs are damaged as a result of negligent or irresponsible behaviour, the Client may be held liable for the resulting damage and associated costs.
7. Complaints
If the Client wishes to make a complaint regarding the product or service provided, it should be submitted to Into Nature as soon as possible.
If the issue cannot be resolved and the Client wishes to pursue the complaint further, it must be submitted promptly after the activity.
All complaints must be made in writing and received by Into Nature no later than one month after the date of the booked activity, accommodation or rental.
8. Insurance
Activities provided by Into Nature are not covered by personal accident insurance for participants.
It is therefore the Client's responsibility to ensure that their own travel insurance covers this type of activity.
Into Nature accepts no liability for accidents, injuries, damage or losses resulting from circumstances beyond the company's control.
9. Pricing Errors and Programme Changes
Into Nature accepts no responsibility for typographical or printing errors and reserves the right to modify programmes and adjust prices without prior notice.
10. Physical Requirements
Participants should be in good physical condition to take part in the activities they have booked.
The physical requirements below apply to dog sledding activities and any other activities where such requirements are relevant.
Participants must be able to:
- Maintain their balance on the sled.
- Have no injuries affecting the knees, back or arms.
- Have no heart conditions or other pre-existing medical conditions that may increase the risks associated with physical activity, including obesity.
- Not be under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
- Be capable of helping push the sled uphill when required.
It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that all participants are fully informed of these physical requirements before booking.
Participants who do not meet these requirements may have their participation cancelled without refund.
You should not participate in this activity if you are, for example:
- Pregnant.
- Recovering from surgery.
- Not accustomed to regular physical exercise.
- Experiencing back or joint pain.
- Suffering from, or having a history of, narcolepsy or loss of consciousness.
10. Force Majeure
Into Nature shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
These include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
In such circumstances, Into Nature will make every reasonable effort to offer an alternative activity, reschedule the booking, or provide a refund where appropriate.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Norwegian law.
Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
